As part of joint ventures with institutional PE investors, pension funds, family offices and private investors, priority was given to property acquisitions in the Berlin metropolitan area and in Magdeburg.

However, we are now increasingly following the market for medium and long-term investments in other cities. Our previous acquisitions cover a broad profile demonstrating impressive increases in asset value. Our activities in this respect range from portfolio transactions (consisting of several hundred units) to individual property acquisitions (such as individual old buildings with significant renovation requirements) and multi-storey blocks (with their familiar massive maintenance backlogs) as well as re-positioning, new rentals and re-vitalisation of residential and commercial real estate.

Vor fast auf den Tag genau zehn Jahren landete der Berliner Hauptbahnhof wie ein Ufo auf dem 40 ha großen ehemaligen Bahngelände, das einmal die Europacity werden sollte. Ein kompletter Stadtteil mit tausenden Wohnungen, Geschäften und Büros war schon damals zwischen Spree und Nordhafen geplant. Doch erst seitdem die Hauptstadt so rasant wächst, gewinnt das Mega-Projekt an Fahrt.
